Tait Walker has acquired clients from Haltwhistle-based Hadrian Financial Services in a move that will expand the firm's regional reputation as a Wealth Management specialist.

The acquisition will see more than 200 clients transfer to Tait Walker’s 30-strong Private Client Investment arm – Tait Walker Wealth Management (TWWM).

Stretching from North of the Tyne to Cumbria, clients joining Tait Walker will benefit from the expertise of the firm’s wealth specialists. TWWM’s Independent Financial Planners provide advice to clients across the region in both Business and Personal capacities; including Investment advice, Retirement and Pension planning, Estate and Succession planning, Protection Planning and Mortgages.

Mark Parkinson, managing partner of the TWWM team, said: “I’m delighted to welcome new clients to the firm and look forward to building strong, and lasting relationships with our teams in Newcastle, Northumberland and Cumbria.”

Angus Makepeace, director at Hadrian Financial Services, added: “I’m really pleased to be introducing our clients to Tait Walker, which shares Hadrian’s values and principles and will offer our clients continuity and ongoing service from a trusted and reliable financial planning business.”

Established in 1937, Tait Walker is the largest independent accountancy practice in the North East of England, which now employs 155 staff following a number of new appointments as the firm continues with its recruitment drive.
