Promapp And Nintex - Better Together

Issue 46

David Bowie and Queen. Disney and Pixar. Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe, Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes. Great collaborations improve outcomes and create fantastic opportunities for innovation. I think Nintex and Promapp are another great example.

When Nintex acquired Promapp in July, it brought the world’s leader in intelligent process automation and the leading market provider of process mapping and management technology together. Nintex Promapp turns complex process maps, Visio charts and procedure documents into clean, simple process maps that everyone can find and follow. The collaboration promises to bring great developments in process excellence for your organisation, both now and as the Promapp platform is integrated into the Nintex suite. This month Synergi has been presenting Nintex Promapp at the Nintex World Tour events as a special guest and the feedback we got tells us that a lot of people are as excited as we are.

Nintex Promapp’s simplicity, collaboration and engagement are a vital part of what makes it the process tool-of-choice for so many organisations, like McDonald’s, Audi and many others, while the Nintex applications are recognised market leaders in no-code solutions for intelligent workflows, datadriven document and form generation and smart mobile connectivity.

If you think about how your organisation currently maps processes (maybe it doesn’t!) – it often involves whiteboards, flipcharts, post-it notes and whilst these techniques are great for driving collaboration and team input when we’re all in the same room, technology has driven us all to build our process maps digitally in tools like Microsoft Visio, Word or Excel. Again, whilst these might help by sharing and even versioning the process maps, the actual participants in a process simply don’t feel ‘connected’ to these digital iterations and are often very reluctant to change them, which is not so good.

Nintex Promapp transforms the way that teams work to define and map business processes and the great thing is that you can very easily see this for yourself by allowing Synergi to setup a trial for you (just drop one of our friendly process crew a line). By taking a current process and mapping it in Nintex Promapp you’ll see how easily it can be defined, edited, and shared right across all participants, giving simple feedback mechanisms for them to update directly on how this works on the ground, supporting change and making sure that any updates are tracked for audit.

If you thought that process mapping was a specialist subject, something for process consultants to worry about, or the domain of expensive and complex BPM technologies then Nintex Promapp will come as a very pleasant surprise, empowering your teams to map out your digital transformation one process at a time! Based in Gateshead, Synergi is a Microsoft Gold Partner with a dedicated focus on cloud-based digital strategies, helping organisations of all sizes across the region and the UK to transform by focussing on five key outcomes – Collaboration, Automation, Security, Insight and Operations.

Look out for our future columns throughout 2019 which will expand on each of these areas
